The frame and sides go up as we continue to work our outdoor gardens.

Not only is our swiss chard beautiful, it's delicious! We are able to grow chard year round, cultivating it in both our outdoor gardens as well as in the greenhouse.  We incorporate it into several of our Island Eats Food truck's menu.

We have been hard at work planting blueberries, and fruit trees along the exterior of the greenhouse.

In late October we begin the process of moving plants into the greenhouse and beginning our winter planting.

With 7 children between us, Inara is the youngest and most enthusiastic gardner and helper! She always brings a smile and a willingness to water, weed, and taste.

Straw bales on the ends and north side help to insulate and keep the interior at a comfortable 60 degrees on sunny, late fall days.

Who says you can't have greens growing in November? This is just a sampling of the variety we have been cultivating.
